Off Season Soccer

This post is for anyone that may be interested in forming a team or bringing your exisitng team out to play in the Cresent City Soccer League during the off season. I know most of us play in the men's and women's leagues but they have several options for week nights and this might substitute a scrimmage or jsut be another night to run and get some more touches on the ball.

The league is run by two members from my men's team and they have done a great job organizing this program. I have played the past two seasons on Wednesday nights. The games have been challenging and fun. (Not a bunch of hacking or arguments)

Below is the request from Cresent City Soccer asked me to forward on the Coed League:

We want to invite you to the Crescent City Soccer 6v6 leagues in Uptown that will be offered to New Orleans Co-Ed Soccer teams for the off-season period (March - May).

There are currently 3 leagues being offered which begin in March: Monday (Competitive 1) and Wednesday (Competitive 2) nights as well as a Saturday afternoon (Recreational). Among many, some of the New Orleans Co Ed teams who have players already participating in the Crescent City Soccer leagues are:

Grasshoppers, Ballistic, Crescents, & Krewe Du Zoo

Games are a 6v6 format on a fenced-in turf field. Each team carries 8-12 players on a roster. Cost of the league is $480 per team. This cost includes referee fees for the entire season, a Crescent City Soccer League Card (local biz discounts) and a water bottle for each player.

CCS Leagues are filling up quicker than expected, so spots are becoming limited for the seasons beginning in March. If you are interested in reserving a place in one of the leagues, contact as soon as possible at the number below.
